This thing has lived up to the hype I’ve read from previous reviews. Never have to guess how much battery you have when turning on as it announces % remaining. Also gives warning when battery is low. We now listen to this more than the home stereo. May get another once we get into the full swing of summer so I can have one in garage as well.

Only complaint is that it doesn't daisy chain with the small srs-xb12 speaker in the Sony line of speakers, only a select few speaker in the line with pair together.

I finally settled on the XB41 because it checked all the boxes: Sound Quality, Battery Life, features.
