It’s loud, the bass boost is excellent, and the battery is great. My only complaint is it kills the volume when it drops under 20 percent. Incredibly annoying. Only 4 for that.

Fortunately you can turn that awesome feature off. This is a really good portable speaker that is durable, water proof, and can get pretty loud.

My bad! It was more money than this Sony. Moisture is not a problem. You can drop this in the pool and it will still work. Sound is great. Just fire up the laptop, pair it with the speaker, start Pandora and take it out to the pool. Doesn't work well with my phone because every time my phone sleeps the music stops. Lighting is cool but and programable. Fast delivery! BestBuy! It's in the name!

I bought one for my husband, a smaller one a while back and he loves it, so we decided to buy two more one for each of our kids. This is the bigger one. My daughters say the sound is amazing and the lights that light up wow. This puts out so much amazing sound. My husband ended up giving his to his brother in law and bought himself another. We give this a FIVE STAR.

For the original 249 price it might not be your best choice. I've been using it for a week and this is what I can say. Bass is amazing loud and clear and if you don't want it just disable the extra bass function using the app. Same with the lights some people complained about them for no reason. I found them really nice and my kids love it. Battery still 50% after a week of my regular use. Extremely well constructed.

I even debated getting the smaller speaker because I didn’t think I’d like the lighting. I have had this speaker for about a month and I absolutely love it and find myself using it daily. The light creates an ambiance at night in bed and can be turned on and off. I rarely turn the lights off. The sound is great. Even outdoors it is very clear and loud. I get lots of compliments on the sound. It’s a good size and an excellent rugged speaker.
