Ive had this speaker for over a year and a Half and I've had no problems with it at all. Actually I still use it to this day for those bathroom/shower jams and even out in the back yard doing yard work and even in the kitchen making dinner or baking works great and sounds great no complaints at all about this product!

Great battery life! Last about 6 to 7 hours at full blast. Sound is pretty loud while playing outside at a construction site.

My family loves Sony portable, Bluetooth speakers. We've had several models and have never been disappointed. One of the differences from this model to some older ones we have is the exterior material. While our older speakers had more of a rubber feel to the exterior, this series is more like a fabric type of feel. It's actually pretty nice feeling and I get the sense that it will provide durability over the long haul too. Just the fact that this speaker is waterproof lends itself to so many more applications around the swimming pool, ocean, etc.... Buyers should note that this XB41 speaker is the largest in this line of speakers. It is still portable to take on trips to the beach, but if you want something smaller the XB31 is shorter in length, but still packs a great sound. The lights that sync to the music are a cool feature for parties and the like, but we generally have turned that feature off for personal use. Prefer the sound with extra bass even though the live sound mode is interesting. We've never had any issues with these speakers not having a sufficient charge to meet our use. Bottom line you're getting quality sound and a well built product that is easy to use. I don't hesitate to recommend Sony products in general since we've had very good results with them.

I have to really come to love the Sony has designed, built and made the speakers easy to connect to each other. The sound out of this thing is amazing. The bass that it produces is superior to anything else that I've had. The sound is crystal clear and pairing was super simple. My wife and kids love the lights, and I must admit that they have grown on me. I wouldn't but the speaker for them, but they do add a little fun to the listening. If you're in a more mellow music listening mood, you can just turn them off. You can use the speaker by itself or you can create a group with other speakers in a few taps, which I did with this SRS-XB41 and an SRS-XB31. Highly recommended. Now you can set up your speakers all over and blanket a pretty good sized area with music. The advantage is that you can play the music at lower levels and hear it everywhere, rather than blaring it out to reach everywhere and having it way too loud to stand near. I also connected by bluetooth to my Echo and it worked fabulously. You can call out your commands to Alexa, skip, play this or that, etc. I love it. I would recommend this to everyone either by itself and more highly recommend with others to string your music together. I've had many bluetooth speakers over the years and these are the best.
