On it's own, this is pretty decent, I understand these are supposed to be "party chained" for maximum efficacy. The bass could be better, and to my dismay, I don't see any subwoofer that goes along with the party chain devices. The sound quality is pretty awesome, and the bluetooth connection seems infallible, so other than the lack of strong bass, I am happy with the purchase.

We love this speaker!! We take it everywhere and sound quality is great!! Only con we have found is that it has trouble connecting to my iPhone. It connects to my boyfriends but not mine... and when we first got it, it would connect to mine but not his!!! It’s very wierd. We took it to geek squad and of course it worked fine on both phones. Don’t know why it’s glitchy.

I compared it with other known brand speakers (Bose,JBL) and it has the best sound compared to the other ones. The battery life is less than what it says on the box but i set it to the highest volume so last between 4 to 5 hrs.

I have boughten many speakers before. The most comparable speaker that I’ve boughten before, has been the UE Megaboom. I really like the Megaboom for outdoor adventures, but this Sony XB41 is much nicer to use for small to medium size parties/ gatherings.

Sounded better in the store, more bass that is. But does get pretty loud when outside

Easy to use. Syncs with Bluetooth or direct cable. I use mine with Alexa.

I so much like this speaker that I had to rebuy again and recommend to my friends. The Bluetooth connection is so easy to pair and also I like the lighten effects on the speaker when you in the dark. Great job Sony.

Great Lil portable speaker with good bass and sound quality!

I had an older JBL flip that was on its last legs. It was ok but not great, not very powerful. So I purchased a JBL charge 4 and was very disappointed, so I returned it and got the Sony. Very glad I did! The sound is much better and is much louder also. I us mostly outside on my porch, and at camp! Works great at both! It's a few more dollars, but well worth it !

A portable bluetooth speaker was on my grandson's Christmas wish list. Bought this model based on the advice of the Best Buy Sale Associate. Grandson loves it and is loud and durable enough to use at hockey practice.

I bought this speaker not expecting to much since it was one of the less priced speakers. I’m happy to say I was wrong!!! This little speaker carries a big sound. I’m using it outside right now and the sound definitely travels.

Its perfect! Enough of going to the beach and havin to listen to that one obnoxiously loud speaker that plays whack music! Now you can overpower all other normal speakers! Would not change it well maybe! Make floatable and waterproof!

The sound quality is awesome for the size and exterior is neat looking.

I went and bought one of the speakers in loved it so much I went back and bought another one so they could pair up together. They sound great and they pair up easily together. I believe you can pair up to 10 of these.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother in law and from what I’ve hear (from a fried that has the same speaker) is super loud and worth every penny. Got it on sale so I really can’t complaint on the price

Purchased this Sony speaker after testing several in the story. Wanted a unit to take outside to the patio or when working in the garage, and this unit fills that need well. Bluetooth link up was fast and easy with IPhone. Works well with the Music Center app, which you will need. Loud enough for outdoor use, but sound eq needs to be adjusted. Out of the box it is too boomy and vocals lack definition. To each his own but the XBass feature is this devices worst enemy. I turned it off and adjusted the eq on the app to increase mids and highs. Much better overall sound. I’d still only rate sound quality a 3.5 out of 5, but then this is a Bluetooth speaker playing streamed low quality music files, so no reason to expect audiophile quality. Also, the lighting effects are interesting and may be a selling point for some, but I turned them off for outdoor use. Battery life is excellent. Overall, this Sony speaker works well and was a good value purchased on sale.

I purchased this speaker as a gift. It has great sound. It has very good bass quality. There is an app for this speaker that allows you to make this device more versatile.

Purchased two separate Sony Wifi Speakers and use them frequently for casual music and also as a tv Wifi once output. Very content with the purchase and quality of sound.
