Posted .Hi Kegmaster, we're glad you like the XB41! A battery indicator light would be cool. However, finding out your battery level can be done several ways. 1st way, turn on speaker and press the battery button in the back cover by the charging port. 2nd way, download the Sony Music Center app, pair with speaker and go to Settings/Power Options/BATT Level/ON, and the speaker will tell you the current charge level each time you turn it on. The 3rd way is to look right above the BATT Level option in the app and you will see your current battery level. The speaker will also audible warn your when the battery level is low.
