The bass reaches into sub territory and the new tweeters give you nice clear highs as well. The battery life could be better imho

I bought the first one for my wife and the ease of use along with the remarkable sound made it such a joy to use. Shortly afterward my father-in-law was so enamored of the speaker, that we bought him one too...he loves it and despite being technologically challenged, he is able to use it easily and frequently too. Finally, I realized I too could use that rich, full sound for myself, so I treated myself to one and love it.
