We picked this titan up for 200.00 and at that price, you can't beat it. Great sound and awesome battery life! I like to use this while working in the back yard and the sound easily travels 150+ feet. The bass is very noticable indoors too.

It has great sound, plenty of bass, and is very loud for a Bluetooth speaker. Easy to set up and the LED light options are very cool! Price was right on sale, but full price at I believe $250, is a little steep. This speaker is not small, but and is built very tough.

Has lights that change with the music, but you can turn this feature off for longer battery life. Have had this product for a little over three weeks. Very happy with it so far. I also use this on my Laptops to help with movie audio and the 360 reality audio Sony has been working on truly shows so this can be used as a sudo soundbar. All in all you can't go wrong with this speakers. It's a Sony

Sony's app is also nice to customize the sound how you like and control the lighting. Within the app you can also see how much battery life you have left. (helpful feature) The lights on speaker are fun and in a weird way make the experience better. The speaker phone capability is not a strength of this device. The mic is somewhat weak, and the clarity of the person's voice is muffled. This is true for many Bluetooth speakers. If you're buying this because you want a nice quality sound for your music, this is a great speaker. If you want it to handle conference or speaker phone calls it's not ideal.

When you do pick up more, make sure you use the Sony Music Center App so you can control them properly. The weight is due to the all-new X-Balance speaker design, and 2 new tweeters. We also kept the speaker waterproof and dustproof like the XB41, but the XB43 is shockproof as well. Oh, and even though we added more speakers your XB43 still has up to 24hours of battery life. It’s convenient to be able to lay it down horizontally and to have it stand vertically. It’s big and heavy enough that I won’t call it “portable” for travel, especially since there is not place to grab and carry it, but easy to move from one place to another. Not an audiophile but the bass seems to be good. Really appreciate the flexibility for Bluetooth or plug-in via audio cable (but have yet to test this feature). Water and dust resistance is a plus. I don’t use the multi lights feature, but it’s fun.

I did a lot of research on bluetooth speakers before going to get one. I was originally going to get the XB34, but the XB43 was on sale for the same price so I thought "bigger is better." It's not 100% travel friendly, it is a little heavy and larger, but still definitely very doable. I take mine to class everyday (I teach ultimate Frisbee), I use it when doing things around the house, etc. Sound is amazing, the features are neat and the extra apps for it are neat. The battery life is unreal, I charged it the first day I got it and haven't charged it since (that was about 15 days ago). Definitely recommend this product.
