Hi maldora, We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your SRSXB43 while playing at full volume. If the sound becomes low while in use, turn off the speaker.
Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.

Hi TurboJobo,

Thanks for sharing your review and experience with the SRSXB43. For volume concerns, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-When the built-in battery is running low and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly, while the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only.
-When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by the AC adaptor (supplied).

To give the speaker that extra bass boost, adjust the sound effects function of the speaker. Please refer to this link:
