I relaced an older jbl boombox for these and im quite satisfied with the amount of power they have coming in at a smaller size and price. The light show is nice too.

It’s pretty loud but as the battery dies it doesn’t seem as loud. All in all very happy with the purchase sounds great on my deck . I definitely would recommend this to anyone

Other sound quality is great too. Battery lasts long too. You can manually shut the light off too so that's good too.

I am a bass person, the base sound on a few of my older mp3 music was weak/muffled but overall most of the base sound is sharp, deep, and clear. I do think the speaker is a little overpriced.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first, I was between the UE megaboom and this model, but once I realized that the Sony's contain more up-to-date technology, along with a USB-C charging port AND an aux audio jack (the 2 models below this does not), I was sold. I purchased this speaker with the intention of using it during outdoor activities but upon unveiling, I realized that I severely underestimated its size, so be sure to check the dimensions and not just gauge the size based on pictures/looks! I will, however, still use it for outdoor activities. Overall, great quality and definitely worth the purchase!

If you read the specifications, this is not a small speaker to put in a purse. Instead, it is a FUN statement piece as well as functional. He paired with the speaker easily and downloaded an ap so he could change colors and styles of the lighting from his phone. He took it to a DJ who also purchased one after trying this out because it's not only a good sound bar, but the lights are fun. This made an awesome gift for a person who enjoys music and the light "show". The lights can be changed in color, style, or turned off.
