The app based equalizer actually works like an equalizer should; cutting or boosting the desired frequency band. So many of the small electronics these days featuring an equalizer just don't get the implementation correct because they rely on poor DSP algorithms. Sony gets it right. My only complaint is the lights don't really sync with the music very well but they can be turned off.

Cant get bluetooth to connect

Phone would not play audio even though it says it’s connected. Unpaired the speaker and tried to reconnect and couldn’t get the speaker to show up in my bluetooth. Returning it.

Well worth it.

The sound quality even rivals my wife's Bose Soundlink that was three times the price. I never expected it to sound as good as it does, and the battery just does not quit. I would prefer a lights-free option, however.

I bought my first speaker in late June or early July. I was really empressed with the sound of such a small speaker. Upon exploring the Speaker stats that two SRS's will make them Stereo. SO. I PURCHASED A SECOND ONE, both from Best Buy. The first one was from a store here in Kansas City Mo.(Tiffiny Springs Shopping Center). I bought the second SRS, from YOU GUYS! I RECEIVED EXCELLENT turn-around time from both BEST BUY STORES! I REALLY LIKE THESE SPEAKERS. I was supprised there are Best Buy stores still around. (They closed a few of the local stores several years ago). I count myself lucky to have found this SECOND speaker so soon.

It has Smart AI CPU powered lights on the front of the unit that randomize to the beat of your music which is awesome!!!! The sound quality out of this unit rivals audiophile brand equipment such as B&O the bass is immersive and the trebles are true and rich. I recommend this speaker to a younger audience only; 13-35yrs old as it has 2 app softwares that power and control it and a great many buttons that older adults might find confusing and daunting. They also might hate that it tends to blast rather than be a mellow speaker, this could power a whole house easily. If you like metal rap goth electronica and hardcore music this is the speaker for you. If you listen to softer genres look elsewhere this will be like playing out of a guitar amp and will tend to hurt your ears. Overall its just what I wanted and then some!!!

Although it doesnt have the same quality as the other brands its very good and close. I use this speaker daily, whether im outside or in the shower or in my room. Just recently I brought it to a pool party and everyone was very impressed. It gets plently loud and has enough bass. If you are on the fence about buying it, do it! Its become an everyday companion for me and i do not regret my purchase at all.
