It's good, just not for that price

Posted .Hi ComfortableChair, We appreciate the feedback regarding the weight of the unit. The weight is due to the all-new X-Balance speaker design, and 2 new tweeters. We also kept the speaker waterproof and dustproof like the XB41, but the XB43 is shockproof as well. Oh, and even though we added more speakers, your XB43 still has up to 24hours of battery life. All of these things add up to our best sounding portable speaker to date, that can basically go anywhere you want to go. Thank you for choosing Sony! Erin
