Do your homework when setting up and pairing. Charge it to full first. Only gripe is having to locate 2 speakers within 3 feet for stereo, doesn’t make sense for true stereo separation

The weight is due to the all-new X-Balance speaker design, and 2 new tweeters. We also kept the speaker waterproof and dustproof like the XB41, but the XB43 is shockproof as well. Oh, and even though we added more speakers your XB43 still has up to 24hours of battery life. The sound quality is good, honestly not the greatest for how expensive it is but not bad by any means. This is very large and heavy. I also cannot figure out how to get the lights to stop flashing, it is a tad obnoxious. I am being picky, but for 200ish dollars for a portable speaker, I feel I can be a tad pickier. If you need a home speaker, this works great if you don't mind colorful lights flashing. If you want to take this places, get something else. It is too heavy and not much better than smaller and cheaper speakers

To turn on or off the lightning function, please press and hold the BATT (battery)/LIGHT button behind the cap on the rear side of the speaker for about 3 seconds until the lighting function turns off/on.
