It ok lack of bass

Posted .Hi Ajmoesch, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your SRSXB43. The XB43 is specifically designed for audio clarity throughout its volume range. This is something our music-loving customers appreciate most. That being said the XB43 also gets very loud for its size and audio precision.
We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your speaker. Please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune your XB43 and maximize the volume to your liking. There is even an EQ.
Please make sure you fully charge the speaker, especially after it has gone below 10%, and hit the auto volume limiter (designed to keep your speaker safe).
Then Increase the volume level of the wireless speaker and source devices.
You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.
If none of these things help, please contact Sony support. We are here to help.

I however believe for price that I paid [$120 off] there is nothing that I can complain about. 1. Solid Brand name. 2' Fantastic price that I otherwise I couldn't afford' 3' Had Sony products all my 68 years 4. Wired [jack] and Wireless 5. The greatest sound that my money could buy 6. LOVE IT !!!!!

I THOUGHT THE EMITTING SOUND WOULD EXCEED ITS CURRENT OUTPUT. OTHERWISE, THE PRODUCT IS PRETTY MUCH A GOOD SPEAKER.

Nice Quality Sound, Good Bass, Long Battery Life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The SRS-XB43 was easy to set up, 30 seconds after taking it out of the box it was playing music thanks to NFC. The sound quality on this speaker quite nice -- music sounds great, truly has extra bass, the sound is not 'tinny' like a prior Sony Bluetooth speaker had been, which restored my faith in the Sony brand of speakers. The lighting effect were pretty cool both on sides (color) and the speakers (white). The music center app detected the speaker right away, no re-pairing of bluetooth was required, at least on my Android phone. The battery life I'm sure varies depending on things like volume and light usage, but even getting close to 24 hours means I can charge it once and use it all day without thinking about the charge. As per it being waterproof, I am sitting here in my bathing suit, but I'm not inclined to throw the speaker in the pool for no particular reason. I can safely say this speaker is worth the purchase, we've been enjoying it in our back yard for a couple hours already.
