Great Bluetooth Speaker

I have had other Bluetooth speakers that would take more than several minutes to connect, but this connects within seconds of turning on the speaker.

Awesome Speaker

He has gone through 3 speakers from different makers within two years. This one is excellent with great quality. Hopefully he will have this one for a long time. Light show!

Once I got it home, by the way, it was fully charged! I gave the lights a second chance and felt them to be almost calming at times. At night it puts on a real show! Really like it!

Poor Sound Quality and Recessed Midrange

I decided to give one of Sony's speakers a try. The build quality is definitely of a premium feel and the lights are unique too. Setting up is very simple and the extra apps have some great features. After spending about a week with this speaker I can say that I am unimpressed with the sound however, particularly the midrange, which is most important to me since most the genres I listen to are rock and metal. The midrange sounds extremely recessed to me and of low quality. The bass output is very impressive for a small Bluetooth speaker, but is very boomy and way too boosted for my taste. Even with the eq the bass doesn't sound flat all across and remains of a boomy nature instead of tight sounding. Will probably be returning it in the next day or two for something more flat sounding.

It sounds like you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app, if not please try it out.
There you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune your SRSXB43 to your liking. There is even an EQ, so you should be able to bring down the BASS to a level you prefer.
You may enjoy the Live Sound option, this can be used in conjunction with the EQ inside the app.

Need to adjust equalizer

Sony Speaker with Aux Input
