It has a GREAT battery life, and the sound is amazing. I think the best quality it possesses is that there very little to no distortion of sound when playing at increased volume levels. I find the bass minimalist, which is fine with me......too many speakers are over-indexed with bass sound. But remember that you can always increase the bass sound with the equalizer setting on your portable device. It also has the ability to display a bit of a light show, which is no concern to me, but some of the younger gens might like to have a bit of glitz with their tunes. So there ya go.

Great sound... awesome highs and great bass for such a small unit. Seems to run forever on a charge (although I don't play it very loud and turned off the light show). Very pleased with this unit. FYI, I also ordered the carry case (SaharaCase), also at Best Buy. Good investment if you intend to travel with the unit. I have an RV, the case is well worth it. Yes, I would recommend this unit.

The lights display are timed to bass notes it seems so it's either hit or miss, but usually they're a fun party trick. Unit is also fairly heavy. Overall really pleased with this.

I had a JBL speaker before that a friend loaned me but I decided to buy this one. It sounds even better, is better looking and I enjoy the lighting it has, which the JBL did not have. This speaker sounds great with a balanced frequency response. Plenty of bass but also very clear treble. I also like the USB charging port and the 1/8” input port. I plug my iPod into it and ti works great. Five stars. Very happy with this speaker.

I haven't kept track of how long it lasts exactly but I know I use it for a while before I charge it again. My only complaint is that the volume is not the best. It may help with the sound quality, however, the loudest volume is not very loud. For personal use its fine but when I've tried to use it at an outdoor party it seemed a little low
