I have to previous generation XB41 but this is even better!! More volume, larger speakers!! What more can you ask for? I love the app enabled features with all Sony products! Easier to control volume from your phone! Excellent for backyard get togethers or just plain enjoyment of music by yourself!! Got a great deal on it during Black Friday 2020!!

I hate the lights but they can be disabled. You can use this as a battery pack for your phone too. I can set an entire room up or an entire floor and jam. I have not attempted multiple floors but it says 25' so i would imagine i can.

Nice speaker doesn’t connect to older models

I ended up getting two of them for now to replace my two older Sony srs-xb41 speakers which I wish they would have connected to this generation of speaker via Bluetooth. Especially since it’s such a highly spoken of feature but it’s based off generations. It’s only thing I dislike they should have been able to connect with each other.
