Pricey but excellent quality and sound

TV sits far from the bed and if you have the fan or anything else on you've got to really crank up the tv to hear it, which means everyone is listening to it. Put this bad boy on the night stand and watch Netflix with barely any volume now. I really like the speaker options and easy Bluetooth connection to the tv. I'm not saying it's not worth the retail price, but it goes on sale for $100 off semi-regularly and that is a price that you shouldn't pass up for sure, if you are thinking about it.

Posted .Hi Jojo97F, Thank you for this amazing review. We're glad to hear you like the sound quality of the unit. The XB43 is specifically designed for audio clarity while maintaining its dustproof and waterproof design (not an easy task). We want you to be able to get the most out of your speaker.
Please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app.
Try out some of the preset sound settings and see what you like.
If all else fails, there is even an EQ for further fine-tuning.
Also, ensure you have charged the XB43 fully, and power the speaker off and then back on.
If the speaker gets to low it will limit the volume output to save the speaker from damage.
You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission. LDAC devices tend to sound the best.
