I would give it a five-star rating, except is almost 8 pounds and does not have an attached carrying handle or strap. I saw new Sony units have added that feature.

The weight is due to the all-new X-Balance speaker design, and 2 new tweeters. We also kept the speaker waterproof and dustproof like the XB41, but the XB43 is shockproof as well. Oh, and even though we added more speakers, your XB43 still has up to 24hours of battery life.
