At moderate volume levels, the bass is still robust, and at top volume levels, it doesn't distort or thin out too much, as is sometimes the case with a portable speaker employing too much digital signal processing. Easy to use and this one actually turn on and off my Samsung TV. Only issue is my husband's big fingers keep hitting the buttons on the side and turning on closed captioning.
