    The sound output is amazing! My nephew talked me into buying this receiver. I kind of figured that they were all about the same. How wrong I was. I am very impressed!

    wow I like it. my house the theater room is fantastic with full off nice sound. even to watch news the sound output is very nice.

    Good reciever, easy to hook up to speakers. Set up a little confusing and when you turn on and off the reciever is pretty loud.

    This new tech is pertty bad ( your back side it wont let me say as*.) it is complicated at first. But thays becouse it can do alot of stuff,not your old receiver. Would be beter if paper came with product.

    It was a nice upgrade from last one and everything went smoothly besides trying to sync it with our universal remote.

We understand that getting all of your components to work together seamlessly is important, and we apologize for any frustration this caused. The STR-AN1000 uses standard remote codes, so it should be compatible with most universal remotes.

    Loved this receiver's sound. However one of the hdmi ports suddenly stopped working. Was told to call Sony but unfortunately they don't cover "open box" items for warranty. Exchanged it for a Yamaha.
