    Excellent receiver. Met all my needs for building a home theatre as well as being future proof with the 8k. I recommend springing for the extra bit of money to get the additional functionality that will last you longer.

    Sony just doesn’t know how to make receivers!! I am sorry to say that but it’s the truth. You get power but no refinement!!! I’ve tested sooooooo many receivers and can’t see how Sony pass this product! Anyways if you want to waste your time try it out :)

    You can’t go wrong with a sony receiver. This is my second one only because my other one was accidentally damaged by a family member. The connections and sound is excellent.

    Great receiver!! Bought this one to replace this models predecessor because I spilled water on it and fried it!! I love how you can hook up 2 Tvs out of this receiver.

    Nice sounding receiver but the IR does not respond to Harmon remote and unit takes too long to come on from standby, sits in a “please wait” mode

    If you are into special sound effects, it gives you that. For me, when listening to music via DVDS or vynil, it's pure direct setting does a good job.

    Totally happy with the STR-AN1000. Especially since it plays nice with my Sony atmos rear surrounds. Full immersion and couldnt be happier with it.

    Great receiver, as good as any Denon I've owned and I've owned 3 of those. This is much more user friendly and has all the connections I needed.

    Not very intuitive, setup was messy compared to older model (str-dh770). Issues with viewing PS5, interface is slower

    It’s been working well. I like that it turns my oled on and off with it. Never changed anything just does it automatically.
