    Huge improvement over the Onkyo I had previously, most notably the soundstage. It tricks me into thinking I have more speakers than I do (currently 5.1) it throws audio in a way I hadn't known possible with the cheap Onkyo. Goes well with my PS5 for surround sound while gaming.

    Sony Av Receiver has a strong clear sound for movies and music. I got 2. One for inside theater and one for outside theater. Even nicer if you add external amps!! The best!!

    Needed a new receiver for a recently deceased one and couldnt be happier! IMO, it interfaces perfectly with my Sony TV and PS5 — and my Apple TV to boot. Great interface and even provides an input for a vinyl player. Top notch mid-tier receiver.

    Receiver does the job. Used to a bit higher “level” of product. It’s a little weird getting around and setting up. It’s meant for beginners into HT world. Does the job so no complaint.

    High quality audio and great performance that you would expect from the brand, with automatic settings for most of your needs. Initial setup was more confusing than it needs to be, and the interface on the device itself is limited. It does have a better visual interface when you connect it though a TV, but it's still clunky.

    This is like my fifth Sony receiver. They just keep getting better and better. I would definitely suggest getting this receiver. I got it because of its Dolby Atmos.

    Upgraded from a Sony 5.1 receiver to get Atmos with my ps5/4k Blu-ray’s as well as 120hz pass through. Works great and is well worth the upgrade if you’re on the fence like I was. The upgrade interface is great as well.

    This receiver is somewhat hard to set up. Bluetooth options are really tough to navigate thru. It has great sound and works nice with the speakers I purchased.

    Sound quality is very clear. Swapping out my old sony reciever took me awhile,im not so good at it. Understanding the manual was not so easy for this old guy. At my age its the last one I will ever buy. Woks well with my 55 inch bravia xbr

    Made a huge difference. Replaced a Onkyo 757. So much more power than the Onkyo. My wife said it’s like being in a movie theater. Side note Best Buy is awesome I bought a fridge a Mac a stereo avr and they have been so helpful! It’s also on sale!
