    Ok for the price, limited in store selection . Service the first time was poor and the first one i bought was faulty and had to be returned.

    No complaints- Kept it's Sony reputation for being old faithful. Did buy as an open box,so was missing the FM Tuner and no tsure where to buy it .Want it badly tp play radio music.

    I can not see how anyone would rate this as great. I guess if you went from using a clock radio maybe. No bass at all. I have even went and got better speakers still nothing. Can not tell any difference with bass up or down. I am trying to replace a very old sony receiver that sounds amazing. I can not believe Sony made such a crap product. Look for something better unless you like everything to sound mono tone then that case this is totally for you.

    Questionable Quality

    This receiver/amp is functional but within only a couple of hours of operation the display failed and remains non-functional. I have to guess at all of my settings because the entire display is down. This was a new, sealed item and NOT an "open box" item so the quality appears to be very low.

    Didn't last

    Lasted just over two years - right after warranty expired. For no reason will not turn on. Told $125 for repair company to just check plus cost of repair. Thought Sony made better product and would stand behind it.

    again, avoid Sony STR-DH190

    I performed the reset procedure suggested by Sony for weak power output on Sony STR-DH190. It did not fix the problem as described. There has been no contact from Sony about this failure, no reply of any kind. They seem to be completely ignoring a glaring defect in one of their products, or an extreme exaggeration of product specifications. Based on this experience, SonyListens does not care about consumers of their products.

    Poor sound quality

    I removed a 30 year old receiver and replaced with this one. As soon as I turned it on I knew that I had a problem. I adjusted the bass and treble to max. The volume and quality is NO where close to what I was used to. I wonder if the have changed the watt rating system. I also wonder if I am doing something wrong. It is such a hassle to return something.

    could not use. Didn't support phono only could use two speakers at a time and I have four. Sound output very low. In-home consultation not do us any good yes.

If you connect additional B speakers, you can select the speakers you want to use with the SPEAKERS

    I just bought the brand new Sony STRDH190 and the power can’t turn on at all , I had try 4 different outlets but it wont turn on

    Stero is good except for auto tune

      Hi Driller, We are sorry to hear you're having an issue tuning to an FM station that you like. It is possible that you're having a poor FM signal reception. To improve the FM signal reception, here are some steps that you can try:

      Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good.
      Place the antenna near a window.
      Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.
