speaker ports are too small

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i actually love this unit ONLY issues the speaker connectors are too small any wire bigger than 20ga is too big even with special connectors still too big wish it had AM but that is not an issue really GREAT sound adjustable bass and treb. A /B speakers DO work at same time! a sales rep will try and upsell saying it doesnt but it has GREAT quad sound.

I tried it out and it works great, just the replacement I was looking for when the other goes out. The Phono connections is a plus, I have a TEAC turntable with the old LP's this will work.

We moved recently and had an extra set of Klipsch speakers. I purchased this receiver so I could use them in the garage. Always love Sony products. Great sound from the FM radio and I can pair my tablet to listen Pandora etc. Perfect for when I am working in the garage or yard. Also great for social distance driveway small gatherings.

If you're looking for an affordable sound system for almost any home I think this is a great option.

Good Performance, Low Price

I chose this one because of the good experience I had with my older unit, and because of the reasonable price. It seems to provide quality sound. The two downsides from my perspective: (1) it has only FM, no AM; (2) the all-black front looks sleek, I guess, but it is very difficult to see the controls and buttons in low or dim light.

Good unit for garage tunes, poor volume control

The volume dial feels rather wonky when spun by hand as many have reported. Blue tooth connection and automatic turn on of unit from I-phone is very nice feature! Unfortunately, the volume control from the I-phone is limited at "50" maximum on the dial display which is ok for casual listening but not cranking to rock out. Poor design by limiting remote volume management to some arbitrary mid-level value.

A perfect receiver for a turntable

This blows away some others I've tried and just has a fuller, more visceral sound, at less than half the price. Handy bass/treble adjustments directly on the remote, so you can fine tune based on the song/album.

This one had great reviews so I purchased it. So far I really like it. No real complaints for the amp. I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch RF-7s. So far the amp has performed well. After the amp warms up and I find the sweet spot on the volume I turn pure direct on and it sounds great. I don’t believe you’ll find a comparable amp at this price point.

I had no problem hooking them all to the receiver. Instructions easy. Great sound I must add! I just bought a new Sony bluetooth too! I'll review that next time.

Its got plenty of power to crank it up and is easy to use. The Bluetooth is awesome. Easily connects to my phone or Alexa to steam all my favorite music. Very, very happy with this Sony receiver.
