Great Home Stereo

Great for the price!

This fit our needs at a great price. The setup and connections were easy and sound was perfect for our small study. If you are not DJ'ing the latest rave or recreating a "THE WHO" concert then you will be satisfied.

It was rated high overall for the price. Changing the pre-sets on the FM channel took a bit longer than expected.

Blue tooth and Phono amp 2-channel 100W receiver

One oddity in the first month- it 'forgot' the bluetooth pairings for both my phone and my wife's phone and got stuck on "pairing.... connecting". The receiver needed to be reset and reprogrammed (hold power for a few moments, fairly easy). I chose the least expensive model that would fit my needs because the last 2 SONY receivers I bought died a premature death (5.1 and 7.1 systems each $500+ when new). This one already showing an issue does not bode well for SONY in my opinion.

Excellent Reciever

Very nice 2 ch. Stereo Receiver

I looked for one that had phono input jacks for my turntable, and also included a remote. This Sony 2 ch. stereo receiver did the trick, and have been very happy with it's performance in the 4 weeks that I have owned.

I did not notice it had a portable in jack. Useful for ipod. And the Bluetooth works well to use it as speakers for my computer or my iPod. It takes a proprietary FM antenna. The one supplied works adequately but I wish it worked better.

Posted .Hi Hiker1000, Wow! We're very pleased to hear you like the addition of portable IN jack, easy Bluetooth pairing, and FM tuner. You can't connect an external FM antenna to your receiver, but you can improve the FM reception.
Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good.
Place the antenna near a window.
Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.

I was replacing some old one's I had in garage, pool cabana and a family room where I wanted bluetooth for remote handling of playing music, controlling volume, channel, etc. For the sale price ya cant go wrong for a basic bluetooth receiver. Has all the accessory connections I need. Bluetooth distance is good too.

It works terrifically so far and my only complaint is the feel of the volume knob. When turning it I'm reminded of something not very well engineered. But it works fine. And the Bluetooth reaches through several walls.... Good purchase
