The sound is wonderful and it was easy to connect all of our accessories. My only complaint per se, was that there was very little stock available at the store.

Paired my iPod and instantly worked - switch my playlist no problem. Other great features, too. The only thing I don't like is not being able to easily read the button labels. Everything Sony makes now is black and hard to see any buttons, labels, etc. Other than that it's really nice.

Just needed a basic stereo receiver and not truing to make the neighbors mad. This unit has all the bells and whistles necessary. Price was right. Great value!!!

Who would have known you could get so much for for so little money. My employees are very happy. They have choices of Radio, CD, phono, and everything Bluetooth has to offer. The whole place is rocking.

Sony - 2.0-Ch. Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After reading all the reviews, I decided this sounded like it would be a good receiver for what I needed to hook-up my CD player and turntable. Right out of the box, the display would not work. We googled the receiver and found some other reviews with the same issue. I was very disappointed. I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to nearest Best Buy to return the item. I had no issues returning it, and ordered a replacement to be shipped to my home. BB did not have one in stock. I hooked up the 2nd receiver, and the display is working. The instructions seemed pretty straight forward. I have 1 pair speakers hooked up, and it looks like it will take another pair. I'm able to play CD's. Have not tried turntable yet. Having some issues picking up FM radio, but I think that's the reception out here in the country. Now that I have a receiver that works, I'm hoping Sony will live up to it's positive reviews.

The negative aspect was the antenna connection with the small flimsy wire, I needed to hook up to an exterior antenna to pickup a local station with a weak signal which required directional type that I custom built. The programming of stations was a bit vague but I got it taken care of at the moment. Sound quality was good and the remote eliminates the need to have to reach the location where it sits. I had to return the first receiver I bought, it also had a remote but what good is a remote if you can't turn the unit on as it had no power on button. I don't know what the thinking was when that unit was designed. I had to spend more money on the second one to get a remote with a power button and it was also a 2-channel and not 4-channel like the first. $65 more for less features....You should have more selections available in store

This is usually not the case for our receivers nor the experience we want you to have. Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to ensure you're getting the optimal signal reception with the receiver:
• Extend and adjust the position of the FM
wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the
reception conditions are good.
• Place the FM wire antenna (aerial) near a
window.
• Position the FM wire antenna (aerial) as
horizontally as possible.

So far performing well. Only concern is that a lot of sound adjustments are made threw the remote. takes time to get use to this.

Excellent for certain needs at good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good for my situation - two sets of stereo speakers in family room and three season room - also airplay units are expensive but the Bluetooth works great especially since you can turn the unit on by simply connecting to Bluetooth with your device and play any source like pandora amazon Apple or whatever

For basic stereo this unit is far less complicated than a home theater type receiver. Used with 2 quality bookshelf speakers for easy listening music so not a demanding application. A few design quirks. Most of the controls are on the remote. Don’t damage it. The speaker wire connectors look like flip lock types but are just spring type things. Not very robust but seem ok. Fm reception is weak but uses a thin, straight, rather short wire. The female connection is apparently not compatible with any other better antennas. Fortunately, I don’t rely on FM listening or this would be a problem. Bluetooth streaming connection to my iPhone is very good and my only listening source.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the remote having most of the controls, speaker port quality, and poor FM reception. Please be assured that the STRDH190 have a robust design which helps prevent any type of breakage under normal use.
You can't connect an external FM antenna to your receiver, but you can improve the FM reception by following the steps below.
Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good.
Place the antenna near a window.
Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.

It’s a low end model that doesn’t have a ton of features, but I wasn’t looking for the world with this unit. I needed only two channels with Bluetooth for a patio system. Works as it should! I've had these records for years, and haven't listened to them, but due to the stay at home order, my wife and I revitalized our basement with a bar and a sound system. The set up was easy and we can listen to records and Spotify from my phone. Great sound quality for the price.
