Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though I have set the BT Menu to STBY OFF (standby off), it sometimes comes on or changes from another setting to BT when I open and turn on my laptop, and sometimes it doesn't. I've learned to live with it and otherwise, it serves me well.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your Sony STR-DH190 while using STBY feature .
To resolve this, please try the following steps:
Distance Management: Try to keep a reasonable distance between your laptop and the receiver if possible, to avoid unintended Bluetooth interaction.
Turn Off BT Power in AMP Menu: Make sure the BT power is turned off in the AMP menu when not in use. This will prevent the receiver from automatically switching to Bluetooth mode.
Reset the Receiver will help if there is a glitch in the software:
Press (power) to turn off the receiver then press and hold (power) for 5 seconds

It has a FM tuner and Bluetooth. With several inputs for 'other' media. Simple to operate . Connected to a pair of PolK audio bookshelf speakers and the sound is spot on.

Easy to use and set up.

Nice change from the old one I had. Hopefully this one will last as long as my previous receiver. That one lasted about 20 years. I a haven't set up the blue tooth yet. But that's a nice feature.

Now each time I want to connect via Bluetooth all I have to do is turn the receiver on in the vicinity of my phone and it automatically connects every time. Super convenient.

Receiver for bedroom turntable

I only wanted 2 channel cause I use this for a bedroom turntable. I am very pleased with the quality and the sound. If you have a beginner turntable this is a great receiver to use.

Really nice to have a remote compared to the 40 year old pioneer that used to do the phono.

I've heard receivers with twice the wattage sound weak and maxed well before it should. I don't get to really crank up to often but when I do, it rocks!
