The effective communication range of the Bluetooth feature of this receiver is within approximately 10 meters (33 feet) (unobstructed distance). Metal object, wall or other obstruction as well as the wireless LAN can affect the Buetooth communication range of this receiver. Despite your concern, we are happy that your Sony receiver does everything you wanted. Every component in the STR-DH190 has been designed for detail and clarity. We hope you also enjoy the BLUETOOTH for easy connection with mobile devices and the A and B speaker function for flexible installation.
