Used with multi-disc CD player, FM radio, or Pandora fed off TV (line-in), it performs flawlessly, sounds great. For folks like me who are satisfied with the simplicity of 2-channels, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend!!

Great Stereo Receiver!

It’s more than adequate to power my Yamaha outdoor speakers. It also has a photo input with ground which is awesome for my 80’s turntable! Doesn’t have subwoofer out, but input 4 has an output (for tape recordings). I used it with a Y cable to send a signal to a subwoofer when we want some extra oomph.

Nice receiver

Good sound quality and power. Was able to connect to echo show via Bluetooth. Now able to turn on the receiver and play Spotify via alexis app outside by Wi-Fi. Really convenient!! Good value for the money otherwise spend $500+ for Sonos.

Music to my ears

The bluetooth feature works very well so I can play music off my phone. The A-B speaker selection is very good as I use two different brand of bookshelf speakers with each brand having a different sound to my ears. The remote control provides full control over the receiver and is really easy to use. This receiver also allows you to use 6 ohm speakers as well as the standard 8 ohm speakers. This was purchased to replace my old Sony two channel reciever that finally died after many years of use in playing almost every day from morning to late afternoon.

Good but not great - but still good for the money.

To keep this short, I'll share the things that could be better. The antenna. It's short and doesn't pick up FM stations all that far away. If you want to replace it, good luck finding one to fit the port on the receiver. Next, the simple, low hum that is very apparent when nothing is playing but the unit is on. Doesn't matter if the turntable is off, it still hums. You can't notice it when the music is playing, and for that, it does a great job. Last, the tuning of stations. The auto-tune works well, but what if you want to manually tune something? Forget about it. It doesn't really allow manually tuning by frequency. If you get good with the auto feature, you can eventually get to a station that is less in signal strength by tuning one way (automatically) then stopping the search up by tuning in the other direction right at the exact time you are on the frequency you want. Yes, it's tricky, but it can be done. If you can get past these three things, you'll enjoy this receiver. Overall, for the money, this is a good buy.

Please follow these troubleshooting steps if the FM reception is poor.
• Extend and adjust the position of the FM
wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the
reception conditions are good.
• Place the FM wire antenna (aerial) near a
window.
• Position the FM wire antenna (aerial) as
horizontally as possible.

For manual FM tuning, Press TUNING + or TUNING –.
TUNING + scans from lower to higher
frequency stations and TUNING – for

I purchased this for the Bluetooth connectivity (outdoor patio). Range is very good (~50’) for phone or tablet. Set up was easy.

Just what I needed.

Wanted to be able to play some old vinyl and needed a receiver with the PHONO jacks ...which was difficult to find at a good price point. The sound is outstanding. Also, the FM reception is so much better than what I typically try to use, so I can enjoy a lot more music. The price was excellent.

It is working well and produces good, clean sound when played in the Pure Direct mode that bypasses all tone controls. In fact, it has exceeded my expectations for the price. Easy to use and no complaints. Cannot comment on the bluetooth or channel tuning, since I do not use them.

Stereo receiver

Great Sony receiver

There’s a NY Times review that says the same thing. It has turntable jacks. Yay! Looks great. Sounds good. The blue tooth paired right up with my iPad and iPhone which have music on them, and I can play utube music through my stereo. The remote is intuitive. A great buy, so far.
