Speaker connections on rear are too small and somewhat flimsy; one broke on trying to connect banana plug to it. Since it had room for A and B speakers, I just use one now. Manual is a little too difficult for me to understand.

Bluetooth is fast and flawless. My only complaint is the cheap spring speaker clips, but not enough to deduct a star. You have to speak 10x more to get something significantly better

When you turn on your phone bluetooth it automatically turns on unit and vice versa. With 100 watt speakers it absolutely cranks. Ability to pull fm channels without static is a 5 out of 10. But I bluetooth everything anyway.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re happy to hear you are enjoying your STR-DH190 Stereo receiver especially its Bluetooth function. In case of poor FM stereo reception and “ST”
flashes on the display panel, select monaural audio to lessen the sound distortion. Press AMP MENU, and then press / and to select “FM MODE” – “MONO”. To return to the stereo mode, select
“STEREO”.
You can also improve the FM reception by the following below:
Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good.
Place the antenna near a window.
Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.

This is a good replacement 2- channel receiver. It does everything that my old receiver did, plus it has Bluetooth. I was able to connect my family room TV's sound to the receiver. I also have a turntable and blu-ray / CD player connected, As it is 2-channel, it is not for those who want home theater with multiple sets of speakers and a subwoofer.

Bluetooth was pretty easy to add. Stereo does not have a subwoofer or preamp hook up, but I am still able to add my powered NHT subwoofer to this system. This receiver does have a hook up and ground for your turntable. Great sound for the price.

Basic and Great Value

Using for listening to vinyl, so I needed something that could accept phono. The range of sound is perfectly fine, and I like that it is very simple. The remote that comes with it has a lot of features. This receiver is nice, and a good value.

Great stereo at a great price.

Really good sound decent power and for channel support. Love the Bluetooth but don’t like the fact that when you turn up the device, it turns on the stereo view as well.

That I'll quickly add was the only misgiving I have about this unit. Other than that it's a solid no-frills unit with great sound. Set-up is extremely straightforward with the directions complete and easy. At the price you (literally) would be hard pressed to find better.

I ran this receiver through my tv and Bose 901 speakers which require huge power. I am under powering it with this 2 channel receiver. Nevertheless the sound is still incredible. My only wish is that this receiver had a loudness switch to hit the strong bass. It’s the best for the price and features

The Sony 2.0 fit my needs perfectly. It was easy to program and sync up (Bluetooth) with music on my IPhone. The ONLY drawback for me was that my previous stereo receiver had two outlets and this has none.

Quality is great and it's a bargain. Got a couple Sony bookshelf speakers and I'm back spinning disc's for way less than $500

The only knock, is the proprietary FM antenna plastic clip hook-up. Really Sony! Please upgrade it with an RCA type jack, so that better antenna options can be used, to pull stations, without static.

Great, simple receiver

It has helped to update my stereo system in my shed. The sound is fantastic and the addition of bluetooth has made it even better when not running a CD player or additional add-ons. I highly recommend it if you are just looking to update an old system with two speakers and a sub woofer.

I love it has a phono input and bluetooth is an added bonus which works without any issues. I would absolutely recommend this receiver to connect a turntable to.
