Exactly what I was looking for

I absolutely love it! Hooked it to a pair of old KLH speakers and it sounds great! Nice and clean sound.

Good receiver with variety of features

This Sony fit the bill. Has many modes of operation for different types of inputs, including direct RCA cable plug in, tuner, phono, external device by wire, bluetooth. Sound is good. Very easy to install and use.

Great quality starter receiver.

I have four speakers hooked up and it operates just fine. Sound quality is better then expected.

Sounds great with my Bose speaker setup and Techincs turntable. I do have an odd issue when streaming Bluetooth to it though. When streaming to it from either a MacBook or my new Mac-mini, it will make a pop-scratch noise whenever it starts a new track or anything starting new and sometimes it will play like it has a lag effect where it sounds like its playing at a slower rate in the mud. I don't know what it is, other than that, I have no issues. I only bought this over the Yamaha R-S202BL because of the phono input.

We're glad that you like the sound quality of the receiver. It's unfortunate that you are not having a complete experience because of Bluetooth issues. Pair the receiver again with the Bluetooth devices. If there are obstructions between the receiver and your BLUETOOTH device, remove them or move the receiver and/or device to avoid them. If there is a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as a wireless LAN, other BLUETOOTH devices, or a microwave oven nearby, move it away. Turn down the volume of the connected BLUETOOTH device. Resetting the receiver may also help resolve both issues:
1. Press (power) to turn off the receiver.
2. Press and hold (power) for 5 seconds. “CLEARING” appears on the display panel during initialization. When initialization is complete, “CLEARED ” appears on the display panel.
Note: It takes a few seconds for the memory to be cleared completely. Do not turn the receiver off until “CLEARED ” appears on the display panel.

Sleek look...good power...easy to set up and connect to speakers. Need your own speaker wire as none is supplied. Great unit for the price!

Good bang for you buck

Easy setup, sounds great hooked up to my surround sound in my living room. Just wish it had more ways of connectivity but for the price and the fact that it’s Sony, I’m happy with my purchase. Hopefully it holds up through the years.
