Sometimes all you need is a great stereo

This works great. I like that I can have a CD changer hard connected as well as drive the music via Bluetooth from my Ipad.

Good Basic Stereo Receiver

For some reason I cannot get true stereo separation, even though I know the polarity is correct. When I turn the balance all the way to the right or left, I still get some sound from the cancelled speaker. But otherwise, it is good for my purposes.

Posted .Hi Maxr, Great! We're very happy to hear you like the amazing sound of your Sony STRDH190. The speaker balance function lets you adjust the balance between left and right speakers but it cannot totally cancel out the audio from either side of the speakers. Hope this helps.

Woth for money

Acceptable for price

The volume level seems weak when listening to radio. I have to set it pretty high for minimal volume. That said, a much younger more technology wise person blue toothed their phone to it and the level was much better. I am comparing this to a 30 year old Pioneer unit that crapped out. All in all its an acceptable unit for the price.

Replaced 50 year old Sony with a new Sony

I was looking for a radio with selectable speaker channels to use in a Pool Shack for running both indoor and outdoor speakers. A & B channels allows you to select one or the other or both at the same time. Bluetooth works very well and connects fast and easy. No complaints, would definitely purchase again. Very sleek looking and well built.

A perfect receiver for a turntable
