Subwoofer Capable but No Volume Control

I don't know why the Sony experts and other customers keep saying that you cannot connect a subwoofer to the STR-DH190 which is not true. In the "Input 4" is a "Line Out" which serves as that function. The only problem is that you can't control the volume. I have a Mac mini 2014 connected to the STR-DH190 which is connected to "Klipsch - Reference Series 5-1/4" 340-Watt Passive 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers" and in the Line Out I'm connected to a "Klipsch K-100SW 10-Inch Powered Subwoofer" and everything works fine. You don't need to buy the STRDH590 for a hundred more. It just depends how serious you are and what's your budget.

Punchless receiver/joke of a return policy

Connection was easy and went very quickly. However, after powering it on, I am supremely disappointed in the lack of power coming from this unit. I removed it and boxed it back up, grabbed my receipt, and started the return process online. Only then did I realize that I had neither a 30 day, 60 day, nor 90 day return. I had a 15 day return window for this unit. I am now stuck with what amounts to be a glorified transistor radio from the 1960s. Incredibly disappointed!
