Posted .Hi JuanPablo, Thank you for purchasing the Sony STRDH190 receiver. We appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, this unit doesn't support HDMI connection. Although this unit can be connected to TV via analog audio connection, this unit is mainly used for audio devices such as turntable, cd player, tape deck, etc. I would suggest checking out our AV Receivers such as the STRDH590, STRDH790, and STRDN1080 models. The BT pairs easily with my phone, ipad and computer and sounds great .. it powers a pair of Denon 6 ohm bookshelf speakers wonderfully .. clear and full .. it has connections for two sets of speakers, allowing A, B and A/B ... .. the EQ, while rudimentary, lets you tweak the treble and bass to fine tune speaker response to your liking .. it has inputs for 4 peripherals and a phono-in circuit and while it has no dedicated subwoofer out circuit, there are easy work-arounds .. Having listened to this for a mnth or so, I'd recommend this Sony to anyone interested in quality sound in a versitile and affordable package.

Bad item and service at store

The power would turn on, but the screen portion was dead and we couldn't get it to work. Upon further research, we discovered this happens to this receiver on occasion for a lot of people, so buy it at your own risk.

Thank you for the review and we're sorry to hear what happened with your AV receiver. Please allow us to help you and turn this into a better experience. There might be a problem with the speaker connection. When matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms.

Dead on arrival, buyer beware

No receptacle is provided for a real (i.e. coaxial) antenna. My old boombox gets better FM reception.
