It is great. Although I have not figured out how to use the remote control to get a desired radio station. And can I connect a dipole FM antenna to the Antenna connector? I've connected the suplied FM antenna as instructed.

REPLACE OLD UNIT

Did not want to spend a lot of money since we don’t use it a lot and what we connecting 30 year plus units to it. There was only two choices that met our needs. At one time we had the other brand for a 5.1 unit and after about 18 months all we could here was the background nosies, so that brand was out. This unit works well for what we need it for.

The sound quality is good for basic component but the unit that I bought had a perceptible hum. I called Sony's help line about this and they confirmed that this hum was "normal." I decided to return the purchase.
