Satisfactory Receiver

I must say that it's more of a basic model that does the job. It doesn't have the power or fuller sound of my old receiver. Also, I had to return the new Sony receiver back to Best Buy because it stopped working after 14 days! I got the same model to replace the defective one. It's a satisfactory receiver, though it is not a high end model.

Perfect for Shelf Speaker System

It's great for a small room system and record player. But if you are looking to add a subwoofer and make it a theater room system, this is not the receiver you are looking for. While I was able to wire in a subwoofer, it's not recommended.

Serves its purpose for how I use it with just the two channels. One downside I have found is that BT connecting is sometimes off or the sound sounds distorted when connecting with different devices. Not sure if this is my particular device or a commonality

Is on 24/7 thanks to my boys bad memory. Using this one with 2 Sony speakers that I bought here in Best Buy. He never turn off this thing and all good. Very loud , everything you need. Buy the cables to connect to smart v and that is it.

Bluetooth setup was the simplest I have ever experienced. Was good to go in 30 seconds. Sony might have went for a walk in the woods for a few years but they are back!
