Works well, w/most of the basic features I needed.

Two features it lacks: (1) no coaxial input for an external antenna, only a cheap connector for a single-wire antenna (supplied); and (2) the volume cannot be adjusted using the handheld remote control.

I do not like that the Remote is only way to access the amp menu so just be sure not to lose it.

Although the supplied remote controls most of the function of the receiver, there are still function that can be adjusted using the buttons on the front panel of the receiver such as SPEAKERS button, TUNING mode, TUNING +/–, DISPLAY, DIMMER, BLUETOOTH, and PURE DIRECT button. Got it for my U-Turn turntable and I’m really impressed! Not an audiofile, but I have a really nice setup in my den and this thing isn’t a massive drop off from that. Just running some small bookshelf speakers to it for a simple Living room setup and it does the trick. This thing is with with just for the phono.

I listen to vinyl and I just wasn’t felling it still a good product but not great three stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything else was good.

Great Sony performance

FM has good sensitivity and out to speakers ie excellent for the price range. Preamp powers the turntable well. Good value.

Black on Black design is hard to see in the dark

Hard to see the buttons and knobs. Everything is small and it is black on black. Pull out your flashlight to change the radio station.

Bought this one for $99 around Black Friday. Only critique is wire clips on back have small holes; not good for 12 ga. speaker wire. Led Zeppelin tested and works great.

This receiver can actually handle speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. We recommend stripping the jacket to 10 mm (13/32 in) at each end of the speaker cables and then tightly twist the speaker wire strands.
