Not pleased with the experience

The display would not come on. I called customer service for support and was told I would have to return it to a store and purchase another one. I was told I would be receiving a $100 gift card by email because of my inconvenience which made me feel better, however it never came. The system didn't work as expected with my turntable so I returned everything. Overall, I am disappointed in my experience.

I quickly called BestBuy and was told how to return for refund. I also purchased a different model Sony receiver from BestBuy immediately.

Too many functions.

Otherwise it is fine receiver and I'm happy with the single function of stereo reception and recording playback.

Old school, we thought the receiver would tie Sonos components together and allow for radio play. But, the Sonos Port connects multiple pieces into the system and Sirius XM gives us the radio (sports) we wanted to hear. So, we haven't really used the receiver, although it is wired into our new Sonos system. Best Buy advisor did not recommend that we buy it, but did not dissuade us from buying either. Nobody's fault, we just had some confusion.

Pretty good bang for the buck

The only problem I had was occasional static on some of the bluetooth connections. This might be the problem of iTunes. Most of the time it works just fine.

If there are obstructions between the receiver and your BLUETOOTH device, remove these or move the receiver and/or device to avoid them.
If there is a device that generates electromagnetic radiation, such as a wireless LAN, other BLUETOOTH devices, or a microwave oven nearby, move it away.
The receiver and the BLUETOOTH device are too far apart
