This receiver has been fantastic. It has helped to update my stereo system in my shed. The sound is fantastic and the addition of bluetooth has made it even better when not running a CD player or additional add-ons. I highly recommend it if you are just looking to update an old system with two speakers and a sub woofer.

Great price on this Receiver, decent power, with phono and sub-woofer capabilities. The only knock, is the proprietary FM antenna plastic clip hook-up. Really Sony! Please upgrade it with an RCA type jack, so that better antenna options can be used, to pull stations, without static.

Bought this to replace an older stereo for my TV in my bedroom. While I liked the Bluetooth audio and the phono hookup and other aux hookup but it did have a separate jack that uses headphone jack to headphone jack for like an I-Pod or other portable devices I was not pleased with the radio side of this stereo it had FM only you couldn't manually tune the radio it has seek and preset function only plus it has no AM the FM antenna has only one wire and does not have any external connections for a stronger antenna hookup. For the price it's a nice two channel 100 watts total output stereo it's great for making any TV sound much better than the speakers that came with the TV. It does come with a remote.

Delivers exactly what I needed a great amp for my (perfect like new condition) 40+ year old Sony PS-X5 turntable. Quality is great and it's a bargain. Got a couple Sony bookshelf speakers and I'm back spinning disc's for way less than $500

I had a previous Sony receiver model that lasted me several years before replacing it with this one. I love it has a phono input and bluetooth is an added bonus which works without any issues. I would absolutely recommend this receiver to connect a turntable to.

Very pleased with this Sony product! Used with multi-disc CD player, FM radio, or Pandora fed off TV (line-in), it performs flawlessly, sounds great. For folks like me who are satisfied with the simplicity of 2-channels, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend!!

I bought this receiver to upgrade my turntable situation, but I find myself using for much more than that. Currently I have it set up with a pair of bookshelf speakers and the sound is incredible. Vinyl sounds great, the Bluetooth functionality is really intuitive and smooth. Highly recommend.

This is a great cheap stereo for the price. Really good sound decent power and for channel support. Love the Bluetooth but don’t like the fact that when you turn up the device, it turns on the stereo view as well.

I purchased this Bluetooth receiver for my husband to replace his 27+ year old Kenwood that recently died. It was easy to connect to our tv and other components and the sound is very clear. Although it is not quite as loud as the old Kenwood it works great for watching movies in stereo and playing music.

I almost rated this 5 stars however I cannot due to the lack of low end this produces via phono output. While very convenient, its struggles on both my Klipsch and JBLs. Great for beginners for sure; but would not recommend for someone looking to "step up".

Basic Sony stereo tuner and amp. Bluetooth input for streaming, phono input and several others, tuner has to be manually set, up and down without a knob so taking off one point for that. This unit works well in the den with some Pioneer shelf speakers and great to play old vinyl with. Volume control is huge, comes with a decent remote too. Wish could tune stereo from the remote.

Good power and sound quality; however, I deducted a star because almost all adjustment to the sound have to be done through the remote which is clunky to use. Would be much more user friendly if it had non-remote adjustments or a more intuitive remote. Still a very good value for all the power you get and the low distortion and low noise in the sound.

Very good amplifier for turntable, and for my CD player. FM tuner very good for most stations, but has some noise on my favorite station. Distance from the station may be the problem.I will try moving the antenna to get rid of the noise,

This is perfect for me in enabling connections to my dual cassette tape deck player/recorder, my turntable and CD player. It has enough power for my two bookshelf speakers at 100 watts per channel, and even if I wanted to connect four or six speakers. I still have three more input jacks available. The price is also outstanding!

In my office I needed a clean sounding amplifier without a lot of high power. I don't want to blast the music. This unit fit the bill perfectly. It has excellent sound clarity, low distortion and enough power to power my two Energy speakers for the level of volume I need for mostly classical and jazz music. Sony is a company that produces good quality for all price ranges and audio equipment.
