Sony - 2.0-Ch. Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth - Bl
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice stereo. replaced an older unit that died. So far works very well. Good sound, love the remote. Only negative is the speaker wire connections is difficult to work with as the receivers wire connection devise only allows speaker wire diameter that is very small, making it difficult to connect speaker wires especially if you have more that 1 speaker per channel. Other wise fine, well worth the price.

Awesome economy receiver

I looked for one that had phono input jacks for my turntable, and also included a remote. This Sony 2 ch. stereo receiver did the trick, and have been very happy with it's performance in the 4 weeks that I have owned.

It was rated high overall for the price. Changing the pre-sets on the FM channel took a bit longer than expected.

I did not notice it had a portable in jack. Useful for ipod. And the Bluetooth works well to use it as speakers for my computer or my iPod. It takes a proprietary FM antenna. The one supplied works adequately but I wish it worked better.

Posted .Hi Hiker1000, Wow! We're very pleased to hear you like the addition of portable IN jack, easy Bluetooth pairing, and FM tuner. You can't connect an external FM antenna to your receiver, but you can improve the FM reception.
Adjust the position of the supplied FM wire antenna (aerial) to a place where the reception condition is good.
Place the antenna near a window.
Position the antenna as horizontally as possible.

I was replacing some old one's I had in garage, pool cabana and a family room where I wanted bluetooth for remote handling of playing music, controlling volume, channel, etc. For the sale price ya cant go wrong for a basic bluetooth receiver. Has all the accessory connections I need. Bluetooth distance is good too.
