It works terrifically so far and my only complaint is the feel of the volume knob. When turning it I'm reminded of something not very well engineered. But it works fine. And the Bluetooth reaches through several walls.... Good purchase

Great receiver for older non tech people!

And that it would be as easy to use since I had not had a receiver in 20 years! Also to be able to listen two radio stations! It was a great inexpensive purchase! I’m so happy I have it as I love music!

This basic SONY receiver was on sale for less than the unknowns with spotty reviews. A perfect addition to my system. We could not be happier!

I decided to get one again after going for several years without one. Really glad I did. I have old school wired speakers that produce phenomenal sound that I can use again. I can listen to the music I have on my phone through this, so it's working great for me.

Upgrading my old components!

Works like a charm with all my other components, including a new Sony turntable I acquired at about the same time.

Easy to set and very basic. I didn’t get this receiver for a home theatre system, I’m just using this for my record player set up. And it works perfectly just for that, but I can see how you can also connect this to your tv to get your set up started:)

The sound of the 2.0 channel is outstanding. You can really hear the separation of sound in each independent speaker. Hearing music the way it is meant to be heard!

When shopping in store, the lack of an optical in was not a concern. After hooking everything up, we decided we also wanted our TV sound to run through our stereo system which was my primary reason for returning. If you want both Bluetooth and a phono hookup on a tight budget, this may be your unit. Lacking other features which can be found for ~$50 more, I personally don't find this to be as much of a value.

Great system but low output

Blue tooth has great range with my I phone - about 70 feet from inside garage to my BBQ. Sound quality is excellent. Picks up radio stations that I never have been able to before. Only disappointment was the maximum volume output. With only two speakers it was not enough. Had to add two more and it is very loud. I would buy this again. My yard is 80 x 120.

Great stereo for the price

Replaced my old similar model Sony that did not have bluetooth so that I could stream music. It works great for streaming music and I have my TV connected as well. It has an A/B switch too so that I can listen to music on my porch on another set of speakers. The remote is simple and user friendly.

I love the flexibility to connect my record player as well as Fm stations. I will be trying options. I didn't realize sony made a receiver . I recommend the product highly. Volume knob tension is tight making it purposely difficult to be accidentally turned up too high. This, I would imagine would be ideal when there’s small children about.
