Simple and Easy Setup

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you looking for a simple and reasonably priced Bluetooth connectivity amplifier (to me the receiver part is a bonus) then look no further! Its under $200 and pumps out enough power for most reasonably priced speakers. This is not for the high fidelity folk who want to integrate the TV, data and other sources to play in a audiophile room but to get sound to outside speakers or bonus room type location, its perfect!

Perfect starter hi-fi recevier

The remote makes it easy to swap from Phono to any of the inputs. I am very happy with it so far. I've got it connected to my computer for streaming music, or I can swap to my phone or tablet via BlueTooth or aux cable.

Blue tooth and Phono amp 2-channel 100W receiver

One oddity in the first month- it 'forgot' the bluetooth pairings for both my phone and my wife's phone and got stuck on "pairing.... connecting". The receiver needed to be reset and reprogrammed (hold power for a few moments, fairly easy). I chose the least expensive model that would fit my needs because the last 2 SONY receivers I bought died a premature death (5.1 and 7.1 systems each $500+ when new). This one already showing an issue does not bode well for SONY in my opinion.

This has all the features we needed: RCA AUX inputs for a SiriusXM radio (Coffee Shop channel, etc.), iPod/phone 3.5mm input, and FM tuner. It also includes a phono pre-amp, but I don't think we will be using that. I especially liked the fact the iPod/phone input was on the front. Sounds quality is good, I won't say great, but that is probably due to the speakers we are using.

Hooked up their outside speakers and inside speakers, record turntable, CD player and cassette to it and it worked great. A and B option for speakers worked great to play them inside and/or outside. They also loved being able to play music with bluetooth.

Good overall receiver

I can have FM and bluetooth connections to play my music. I was able to use my Bose Companion 2 speakers as well in the living room but the colume control will be from the speaker and not from this receiver.

My previous stereo receiver offered a built in seven band equalizer. I didn't think I would be able to find equal sound quality without an equalizer, but this is very acceptable.

But for the price, I figured why not? It arrived in excellent condition, and hookup was easy. The sound quality is great they my outdoor speakers. Couldn’t be happier! Don’t Helier the negative reviews. This receiver is worth every penny spent.

Good “Value” Bluetooth Receiver / Just OK Sound

Zero complains other than maybe an hdmi in/out. Very good for movies! I use an HDMI splitter/audio extractor that goes between the roku and tv and you plug the RCA into this to get the audio.

I wanted a receiver with a dedicated "phono" input. I have a few turntables, and when I hook them into a more "modern" home theater receiver... (with no phono-had to put it in the CD "in"), it sounds ok? It just has no "punch" or "volume." I even tried a pre amp hook up, but that was all distorted. SO... anyway, this gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for. My records sound fantastic, I also hooked up my CD player, and even a cassette deck. Even though this receiver is somewhat "old school?" It has Bluetooth connectivity, and my phone paired with it instantly. I'm very happy with this receiver, it was priced right (even though I see it for $50 less now!), and I would recommend it highly.. if you're looking for the same things that I was!

And it has Bluetooth so it is easy to play music from phone or ipad. Bluetooth is only good, not great. When device gets too far away from receiver, music cuts out.
