The effective communication range of the Bluetooth feature of this receiver is within approximately 10 meters (33 feet) (unobstructed distance). Metal object, wall or other obstruction as well as the wireless LAN can affect the Buetooth communication range of this receiver. Despite your concern, we are happy that your Sony receiver does everything you wanted. Every component in the STR-DH190 has been designed for detail and clarity. All elevators undergo an annual testing (‘no load’ testing). However, traction Elevators are required to complete a Full Load test every 5 years. During the full load test, weights are put in the elevator so that it contains 125% of its rated capacity. The elevator is run above rated speed in order to trip the governor. This rigorous run allows us to test the elevator’s emergency stop mechanisms, ensuring the governor and brakes all operate as designed. The Whitman passed inspection!
