This serves the purpose I needed it for: to run my ceiling speakers. It was easy to set up, and the sound quality and ease of use is great. Turn it on, connect to Bluetooth, and boom: off to the races. The only problem I have, and what’s preventing a five star review, is that it is way bigger than I though. So big, in fact, that it won’t fit in my media center. Right now it’s living on the floor next to everything until I figure out what to do.

Nice stereo receiver. The only complaint has to do with the FM antenna plug. It is unique to Sony and apparently used on other product. To use an outside antenna with a 75 ohm coax, You will need a 300 ohm to 75 ohm transformer. They only cost about $3 so it is no big deal. Other than that, the receiver works great. I like the strong Bluetooth connectivity and it has a button on the remote to easily connect.

Needed a receiver in my home gym to power up some old speakers I had laying around Pros- Price ($99), Bluetooth, Ease of Use , Set it up and started playing music in 5 minutes Cons- Size . Not really a Con, but we are spoiled now with portable speakers and I haven't used a receiver in 10+ years. Smaller than what I had though for sure

If you are looking for a receiver with a dedicated phono input, this is one well worth looking at. It has input for various other audio types. I tried the Bluetooth with an older iPod and it worked great. If looking for a budget receiver I highly recommend this one. (Not paid for this review).

My 1994 stereo receiver malfunctioned, so after seeing the amazing reviews, purchased this. Plugged my old speakers in & was very happy w/ the sound! Unfortunately read in the manual 6 or 8ohm speakers & lo & behold mine are 4ohm & apparently that could make the unit overheat, so after reading reviews, bought the Sony SSCS5 speakers which are great as well. I suspect I probably could have gotten away w/ continuing to use my 4ohm speakers w/ this; but "experts" on YouTube said it could shorten the life of the stereo receiver. So there 'ya have it, folks! Oh, just one more thing-LOVE that you don't need a separate pre-amp to plug in turntable. It comes built in.

All I needed was a receiver that had Bluetooth to stream from my iPhone & computer to practice my music with & this receiver is absolutely excellent for my use. All the connections one needs, great sound, user friendly. Love the remote, never have to get off my seat to do what I need to do as far as music. Play pedal steel. Would recommend.

I was looking for an inexpensive but quality receiver to replace my 40 year old Hitachi solid state receiver which would have cost a small fortune to refurbish. Totally surprised by the sound, the features (including bluetooth), and the sleekness of this product at a very affordable price. You cannot go wrong with this receiver.

I wanted a receiver with phono inputs so I could resurrect my quality Sony turntable from years gone by. It was a perfect match. Plenty of power and no noticeable distortion at a good volume running thru the Klipsch speakers I paired it with. The price was very reasonable as well.

I am using the received to power 11 in-ceiling speakers (5 indoor and 6 indoor). The receiver is two-zone (A and B) and provides plenty of volume for these speakers. Price point is excellent value for the quality. Also works well with Phono and Bluetooth Audio (e.g., from your iPhone), which turns on the receiver remotely.

My major problem with this receiver is that it won't use 4 ohm speakers (long story but the tech replaced my 8 ohm with 4 ohm without asking first). Aside from that, the receiver has been great! At first not so much, but it has gotten better and better. Not sure if the phono input is as good as an external preamp but it can do the job. Bluetooth is good. Not pleased with the proprietary FM antenna (actually, a small wire) as it has limited the reception. Still, for the price it is a very good buy, especially for someone like myself who wants only a 2 channel receiver for strictly music listenting. At least a B+, possibly an A- Only the speaker impedeance limit keeps it from an A+
