Plenty of clean sound.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a receiver with phono inputs so I could resurrect my quality Sony turntable from years gone by. It was a perfect match. Plenty of power and no noticeable distortion at a good volume running thru the Klipsch speakers I paired it with. The price was very reasonable as well.

Great receiver
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great receiver/amp! Plenty of input allowed for record player (with special plug in that seems to improve the sound), cd, and dual tape decks. Simply has all one needs for a home stereo receiver/amp (including Bluetooth!). Highly recommend this equipment. Lives up to the Sony name!

Good for what it is and for price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About as expected from a 2-channel receiver for the price. Purchased primarily for direct connection of "oldie but goodie" Technics Direct Drive turntable (SL-1310). Lack of additional RCA-type inputs and subwoofer direct connection output is a drawback.

Amazing Power and Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing! I wondered why my Best Buy had 15 in stock. WOW!; This unit ROCKS. I hooked it up to my old Radio Shack Mach 3’s that have Rockford Fosgate 15” Woofers. I needed an amp that was 6ohm stable. I bought 2 on sale. Surprised isn’t the word. I run it HARD! It gets hot. I use a small fan to help keep it from burning up. The 2 year warranty shows you how confident they are in this product. For $150, this out-performs $600 amps. Buy it, you WON’T be disappointed…

Good Value Receiver
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality sound that offers the versatility that many of the more recent devices lack. Enough power to give you the volume you need while still having clear sound. Has the bluetooth capability that you couldn't get on receivers in the old days!

Mesmorazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.¡WOW! I'm just mezmorized the sound for the price is like having a AUDIOPHILE SYSTEM that is worth THOUSANDS I was skeptic at first because i only had 2 very old Panasonic bookshelf speakers with only a small 4.5 woofer and a 2.5 tweeter that can hold 50 watts RMS and boy I was so surpriced. I don't need anything else. I'm so happy.

Good Unit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works fine, as advertised. New Bluetooth feature is very cool, as I can even play long, extended music clips on You Tube as nice, soft background music. And some of those are even without ADS! Have my 5 CD Changer hooked up to it, along with a dual cassette player, which I still use. And a great sales price of $200, $50 off list price, a real bargain.

||Posted . Sony Receiver
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony 2 channel stereo receiver is awesome. It's very clean sounding, has 100wpc to drive my JBL 4312 monitor speakers and rear speakers, and actually makes my former Rotel receiver a thing of the past. It's easy to use and one doesn't have to be a computer expert to operate it.

Sony - STRDH190- 2-Ch. Stereo Receiver--Perfect!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This met our needs perfectly! We had a receiver that was more than 40 years old, and it had started having multiple problems such as static and not receiving radio signals very well. The Sony - STRDH190- 2-Ch. Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth & Phono Input for Turntables - Black not only works perfectly but also receives more FM stations and in general provides a much better sound.

Very Hard to Beat
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I rate this based on value to performance. However, I will say that this is more enjoyable to listen to than some more expensive receivers. I've returned receivers costing almost five times as much because the Sony can be more fun to listen to. It has a really good phono stage, which is what I primarily use the Sony for. The sound is transparent and you clearly hear all instruments. Don't listen to audiophile reviews. I did and I wasted so much money until I stumbled across this gem. If you like music with tons of bass, you may not want to purchase this product. It is meant for music that contains a lot of instrumentation, such as rock, country, jazz, etc.. This receiver presents the treble, midrange and bass very balanced. This is a very good thing, but some folks may like more punch, so they may want a different receiver. Keep in mind that sound reproduction is a compromise, so if you want more bass, you may miss out on other musical details.
