When connect to speakers it is really loud. I have yet to go past 70% volume because of how loud it gets. Definitely recommend

I use it in my bedroom and it gets LOUD and the bass is good in my opinion and if you’re looking for a cheap but good quality receiver this is it.

If buying open box, be careful.

Since this will be tucked into a cabinet in my garage, I assumed the remote was not needed. Unfortunately, the remote is required for full functionality. Product pluses: With a right angle RCA plug, it fits a conventional wall cabinet with door closed. Sound quality in pure direct mode is good.

Posted .Hi Mike, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your STRDH190 receiver. We're glad you like the ease of setup and use of your new receiver. Make sure the volume is not set to “VOL MIN”. Please try to press the VOLUME + button all the way up to see if there will be difference with the sound. Check that all connecting cables are inserted to their input/output jacks on the receiver, speakers and the devices. Make sure you have connected to both the L and R jacks of an analog device, as analog devices require both L and R jack connections. Use a stereo audio cable (not supplied).
