I did not realize this device is only have old audio in/out (white/red).. Sony need to add HD input/output.. I returned this device and took Sony 5.2

works, wish could access menu without remote

I do not like that the Remote is only way to access the amp menu so just be sure not to lose it.

Although the supplied remote controls most of the function of the receiver, there are still function that can be adjusted using the buttons on the front panel of the receiver such as SPEAKERS button, TUNING mode, TUNING +/–, DISPLAY, DIMMER, BLUETOOTH, and PURE DIRECT button. Works well, w/most of the basic features I needed.

Two features it lacks: (1) no coaxial input for an external antenna, only a cheap connector for a single-wire antenna (supplied); and (2) the volume cannot be adjusted using the handheld remote control.

I did not want to spend much since I keep it in an outside unheated building in Minnesnowta. Bluetooth works great, we control the music via phone from the deck of the Tiki Bar, including volume. The display is a little hard to read but nothing that would take away from the cost/benefit ratio.

Got it for my U-Turn turntable and I’m really impressed! Not an audiofile, but I have a really nice setup in my den and this thing isn’t a massive drop off from that. Just running some small bookshelf speakers to it for a simple Living room setup and it does the trick. This thing is with with just for the phono.

Black on Black design is hard to see in the dark

Hard to see the buttons and knobs. Everything is small and it is black on black. Pull out your flashlight to change the radio station.

Bought this one for $99 around Black Friday. Only critique is wire clips on back have small holes; not good for 12 ga. speaker wire. Led Zeppelin tested and works great.

We recommend stripping the jacket to 10 mm (13/32 in) at each end of the speaker cables and then tightly twist the speaker wire strands.
