Sony 2 channel Bluetooth receiver

It’s only two channels, but with a little research, I discovered you can make it 5.1 channels by hooking it up to an active subwoofer (thanks YouTube!) Everything sounds good and it’s plenty loud and has a sleek design, my only complaint would be there is a slight lag using the Bluetooth. It bothers me a little bit to hear the sound effects or words a millisecond behind the image on TV, but I imagine that would always be the case with Bluetooth, but at this price point, I can live with it.

Descriptive Box Used to Ship

This was an open box item, but the box used to ship had a picture of the item on the outside of the box. Anyone walking past my house could have seen what was in the box. Aside from that, no issues. Great product.

Stupendous Stereo

This looked like a good bet based on what I needed, and it works perfectly. It hooks right up to my turntable and speakers, and even has Bluetooth for if I need to hook up my phone. I really like it, I'd recommend this one if you're on the fence for a nice stereo.

This has a LOT of background noise, but it works ok.

I was looking for a simple, bluetooth capable receiver for my workshop. I read reviews on several brands and models and decided to buy this one. I picked up this receiver on 05-26-23, placed it in my workshop and hooked it up to a pair of VINTAGE Realistic (Radio Shack) home stereo speakers that I bought in 1982! Maaaannn...this little receiver made them come alive! Solid bass and crisp highs with satisfactory adjustments. I don't know what the heck some people are complaining about, but this is a very good, budget receiver! If you're not expecting $1000 sound from a $180 receiver with bluetooth capability, you'll love this one.

I wasnt very impressed. But after i pulled the remote out of the packaging a few days later i noticed the bass and treble adjustments and was able to select the proper 6ohm mode for the speakers. Now it sounds great. Very happy with it and it has our house rocking! I have the bluetooth paired to my samsung tab s6 lite streaming YouTube music and works flawlessly.

Bluetooth very simple to connect and use. The reason for 4 stars is the antenna connection, which could be much better. But there is a quick fix for that:)
