It has inspired me to dust off my old CDs & LPs. I use it with 2 bookshelf size Athena speakers and an Athena subwoofer. Listening to music through phones and laptops should be criminalized. The sound of this inexpensive receiver takes me back to a time when an evening's entertainment was often getting together with friends listening to the latest LP release in its entirety and reading liner notes.

Seems to work great. Not crazy about the menu options but works good for having a CD Player and Turntable and has Bluetooth too so you can connect your computer or phone to it too!

With high quality speakers it is a great pleasure. Bluetooth works very well. There should have been a sub woofer connection.

It does create loud "pop" sound sometimes between tracks when using my Mac Music as Bluetooth sound source. Nt sure why. This does not occur when using iPhone or iPod as source.

Sound is very good, but my old receiver (which died after 34 years) sounded better. For the price a very good receiver! I would reccomend for buyers on a budget.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have this running our remote speakers in two locations around the house - the A and B of the speakers on the system. So - given that it isn't running our main system - I am very happy with the results. Good sound quality, plenty loud enough, and really like that I can connect my phone up via blue tooth so I can run Spotify and my phone's music through the system. For the price, would highly recommend and think it would also serve well for a main system - though it doesn't support a fancy multi-speaker arrangement. The only thing I don't like is the "feel" of the volume control - but that really is a minor thing.
