Gotta say I wasn't expecting much when I bought this, but I've been surprised in a good way. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it has the turntable hook-ups with the pre-amp and it sounds great. My vinyl has new life. I thought I was just going deaf, but it was my receiver that had bitten the dust.

This is a decent 2.0 stereo amplifier. While this is a 2.0 receiver, I am using the RCA outputs to send signal to my subwoofer. This works great. If you need a no frill's amplifier this is it. I first used this in my garage only using chromecast. I since put more speakers in my garage. I know use this as a 2.1 system pushing tower speakers for my computer. Again, it does its job.

Not as powerful as my vintage equipment I have to replace, but still good enough for my current needs. Bluetooth is easy set up and a strong connection. Haven't set up the turntable yet. I bought 2 for 2 different locations. For the price, looks like you can't go wrong.

The decision was between this Sony and the similar Yamaha. Using it to push content to outside speakers. Easy BT connection from outside, not sure the range but it does go through door(s)/concrete foundation to the table 20 feet away, Nice that it has the phono connection in case the current Insignia receiver in the study needs to be replaced.

I purchased this receiver for its Bluetooth capability. I like the quick and easy connectivity. In addition to the Bluetooth, it offers multiple inputs for additional devices. I have paired this unit with indoor/outdoor patio speakers by Yamaha for relaxing on the patio. I’m pleased with the results.

Easy delivery. Set up easy to do. Impressed with Bluetooth distance from my iPhone to play on receiver. Wanted the FM stations for spontaneity and easy quick to pick up Penn State network on fm. But do miss the old style wheel selection that I could zero in on Baltimore stations even if scratchy. Technology improvements ok in some respects but not others. Has nothing to do with overall performance - sometimes old gives more.

Using it in my shop/garage. Replaced a 1980s high-end Sony receiver, RIP. It powers 2 Pevey towers...each has 2... 12" + 2... 10" + 4 tweeters...low distortion. Clean Sound even at max. The downside, bad FM reception with the supplied/cheap antenna wire with the funky plug,..no terminals to attach a real antenna. I'm old-school. Still have an early 70s, Sony Amp, Pre-Amp and Tuner in my studio powering 4 McIntosh speakers. So, in short, I'm happy.

Great receiver for the money. It checked off all the boxes. I can play my old albums and cassettes and connect my phone and tablet by Bluetooth. Of course it's not some high end model with all the HDMI home theater stuff. I just needed an inexpensive really good sounding receiver. I paired it with some Klipsch Reference 5 1/4 340 watt speakers. I think they cost twice as much as the receiver.
